Statement of Faith

Grace Fellowship AG is affiliated to the Assemblies of God in India (AGI) and comes under the jurisdiction of the Gujarat District of the Assemblies of God in North India (AGNI). Therefore we standby the Statement of Faith of the more than 250000 AG churches worldwide.

We, at Grace Fellowship, believe in

  • The divine and full inspiration and supreme authority of the Bible as the necessary and sufficient rule of faith and conduct and, we firmly hold that each member/Christian must search the Scriptures for him/herself and seek the illumination of the Holy Spirit to interpret them
  • One Eternal God in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • The sovereignty and grace of the Triune God in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgment
  • The fall and sinful state of all mankind
  • Making mankind subject to God's wrath and condemnation
  • The incarnation and atoning death of our Lord Jesus Christ, as substitution and propitiation for mankind's sins. His resurrection, ascension and His personal and visible return in power and glory
  • The sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ being the sole and all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin, and from its eternal consequences
  • The justification of the sinner by the grace of God through personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior, a faith which is active in love and holy living
  • The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, sanctifying and enabling works of the Holy Spirit in the individual believer and in the Fellowship
  • The resurrection of the dead, bringing eternal blessing to all who have received Christ and condemnation to all who have rejected Him
  • The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head, and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world
  • The Church universal - as the holy society of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, which He founded and in which He dwells by His Spirit - and that it is in joining a local Fellowship that joining the one Church universal becomes significant
  • The ordinances of Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins of those professing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord's Table for remembering His suffering and death and proclaiming His coming
  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as an initial evidence of this baptism
  • The fundamental doctrines taught by the apostles and practiced by the New Testament Church as evident in the book of Acts and the Epistles.
